So after spending money on the Howl's Moving Castle books, I had decided not to attend conventions 'til next year since I felt guilty spending my salary on myself. @.@ But my resolution was rather weak and I ended up going to U.P. Ame after work yesterday. Well, the venue of the convention was a short walk from the office so it was rather hard to resist going to the con.
As yesterday was the first time (after a long while) that I've gone to a con without cosplaying anything, I found being a spectator rather fun~ I actually enjoyed watching the catwalks from the other cosplayers and had fun listening to the bands (though the sound system yesterday was really lame).
SO! These are the stuffs that made me really happy during the con (took the pictures using my old cellphone, so these are low-res) :
I watched Spirited Away just the day before this con since I was short on Howl-stuffs, I decided to see something similar to him XD and fell in love for the fifth time with Haku and Sen I loved this pair since five years ago and rewatching it made me want to cosplay Chihiro. When I saw the familiar hairstyle at the convention, I did a double-take and wonder if I was really seeing a Haku cosplayer or I was just mistaken. I mean, there are other characters with the same hakama...
But the hairstyle! The hairstyle was a dead give away that the cosplayer was indeed Haku!! XDDD It made me feel so happy it was, after all, my first time seeing a Haku cosplayer that it took me time to calm down I was skipping and swaying around that Michi had to scold me XDand ask the Haku cosplayer for a picture. Ahhh, I do wonder how I would have reacted if there was a Howl cosplayer...
*w* It started when we decided to watch the performance of the bands. I sat on a random place on the ground and laid my KHR bag down on my front. Moments later, a group sat on my left side and more moments later, a hand pointed on my bag. I glanced to check whoever was rudefullypointing at my lovable Tsuna bag, and to my surprise, it was Hibari! *w* Sitting beside me was Yamamoto and beside Yamamoto was the rest of their KHR group minus Juudaime and Gokudera~ *mentally squeals* There were actually three Hibaris there which was quite freaky if you really think about it But the Hibari that got my attention was the one with Chrome~ XDDD 1896??? In flesh??? I immediately stood up away from them I was too happy and hid behind Michi while I took this stolen shot. XD
I don't really know the name of this band, but I love the songs that they played~ Let It Out, Drawing Days... XDD Too bad that the sound system ruined the performances of the band...
I find this Rin bookmark very, very adorable~ So I decided to buy it~ XDD This was made by ~sighlol
*decided to use a simple skin so as not to spoil the featured artworks *

For each of the 10 first people answering this journal I will put his/her avatar and 4 deviations from his/her gallery on the list.
If you answer, you'll have to do the same in your journal, putting me in the first place, and completing the list with another 10 people. That's 11 total. The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone.♥♥
----HMC BOOKS----
*u* Spent the money I was supposed to use for my cosplay~ But I think these three books are worth it~ X3 I pretty much love Howell~ Was so happy to buy these three books~
"Your hair is so starlike." I still couldn't get over this scene.
The sleepover with *Schararuku was quite fun, thanks to the entertainment that Howl and the mobile suits from Gundam X brought us.
Anyways, I can't wait 'til Saturday! I expect to see all the "Sunshine Girls and a pretty bunch" in Mangaholix~~~ Sana makapunta lahat sa tin~ I want to cosplay on that day but I'm still undecided on who I'd cosplay... >.>
